HOW DO I FILL OUT MY MAIL-IN BALLOT?

  1. Mark your ballot in black pen.
  2. FILL EVERY DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE OVAL– THERE IS NO MORE STRAIGHT-PARTY VOTE
  3. Seal your ballot inside the white secrecy envelope provided. If you don’t, your ballot will not count.
  4. Place the ballot and secrecy envelope in the larger return envelope addressed to Chester County Voter Services.
  5. Complete and sign the Voter Declaration on the back of the envelope.
  6. We recommend returning your ballot by 10/20.

HOW SHOULD I SIGN MY BALLOT?

You should sign the same way you did when you registered to vote. If you’re concerned, fill out another voter registration form and sign it. Voter Services will capture your signature from this new form.

WHAT IF I LOST MY MAIL IN BALLOT OR NEVER RECEIVED IT?

You can ask your county elections office to send you a new ballot and void the old one. (But if you find or receive your original ballot, make sure not to use it. It will not be counted once it’s been voided in the system.) You can also still show up to the polls and vote on a provisional ballot, which is a paper ballot that is set aside and counted once it is clear you are eligible to vote.
